Heavy Equipment Operator at Armdale Lawn Care

 

Location -           36.5 Dentith Road Halifax, NS B3R 1T4

Salary -                30.00 hourly / 30 hours per week

Vacancies-         1 Vacancy

Terms of employment- Permanent employment, Full time

Start date-          As soon as possible.

 

Job Requirements

Languages-     English

Education-      Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience-     1 year to less than 2 years

On site-            Work must be completed at the physical location

 

Tasks

·      Operate heavy equipment

·      Use International Organization for Standardization (ISO) pattern joystick controls

·      Use Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) controls pattern

·      Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks

·      Measure distance, volume, length and weight

·      Operate computer-controlled equipment

·      Complete onboard and other logs

·      Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment

·      Secure special attachments to equipment

·      Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment

·      Perform minor repairs to equipment
