Job Requirements:
Languages
· English
Education
· Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent related experience
· Caregiver certificate or any related patient care related education is an asset
Experience
· At least 2- 3years of work experience as a caregiver (geriatric homecare) or any related field in patient care.
Age of recipient of care:
· 67 years old, quadriplegic
Duties:
· Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing/showering, feeding, brushing hair, shaving, brushing teeth, skin check and care.
· Performing transfers and repositioning client with use of mechanical lift.
· Safety performing ventilator and tracheostomy care.
· Preparing nutritious and balanced meals.
· Light housekeeping and laundry
Work Conditions
· Repetitive tasks, Work under pressure, Physically demanding, Overtime maybe required
Physical Capabilities:
· Must be physically and emotionally fit
· Must have valid driver's license
· Must be 21 years or older

· Work in employer's/client's home
