Spicy Peppercorn Restaurant is looking for one experienced Cook.

Job details are as follows:

Wage: $18.00/hour

Term of employment: fulltime, permanent, working average of 40 hours per week

Education: High School graduation or equivalent work experience

Work experience: 1 year of working experience

Language of work: English

Job duties and responsibilities:

·       Organize and oversee special events and food service activities

·       Decide appropriate portion sizes and calculate food costs to stay within budget

·       Design menus and plan the amount of ingredients needed for daily operations and events

·       Order food items and kitchen supplies as required

·       Prepare and cook full meals, individual dishes, and other food items

·       Check kitchens and food preparation areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met

·       Train kitchen staff on proper food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling

·       Keep accurate records of inventory, food supplies, and kitchen equipment

·       Clean and maintain kitchen areas and workstations
