Job Description

Fraser Valley Wireless is seeking a store manager - retail to manage and oversee the daily operations of its Vancouver retail location. The successful candidate will be responsible for staff management, inventory control, sales performance, budgeting, and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced electronics retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct, control, evaluate, and plan daily store operations
• Plan and organize daily retail activities
• Manage staff schedules and assign duties
• Analyze market research and trends to assess consumer demand, sales potential, and competitor impact
• Determine merchandise and services to be sold
• Implement pricing and credit policies
• Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale
• Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies
• Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
• Determine staffing requirements
• Resolve operational issues including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff and/or volunteers
• Oversee payroll administration
• Conduct performance evaluations and reviews
• Supervise office and retail staff

Employment Requirements
